International Conference Scanning Probe Microscopy (SPM-2018)

International Conference “Scanning Probe Microscopy” (SPM-2018) welcomed about 150 participants from 10 countries and 22 cities of Russia. The conference witnessed about 170 presentations. The proceedings will be published as the special issues of IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering and FERROELECTRICS journals.

As one of the sponsors of this wonderful event Ostec was proud to share its scientific report “Bulk Microstructure and Local Elastic Properties of Carbon Nanocomposites studied by Impulse Acoustic Microscopy Technique”. Ostec introduced a cutting edge tool for nanocomposite analysis – the instrument that makes it possible to distinguish nanocomposite material from non-nanocomposite – which was met with great interest, recommendations and suggestions from the academic community.
